I am trying to figure out if I am insane……. Maybe I should be in a padded room with a comfortable jacket on. I approached my mother last week and her and my father ok’d it they will help home school Little Man. My mother and I went to the orientation today and I found out that they do not have an opening for the track that I originally planned on…..So he will be home schooled full time!! I don’t know about you but this scared the crap out of me. I want to be mostly in charge of my sons education but I wasn’t sure if I was ready to be fully in charge!! Not to mention I WORK FULL TIME!!! I am CRAZY! But I feel we will get better results and we can help Little Man reach his full potential and he will have 5 people educating one child instead of the crazy ratio of one teacher teaching 30 kids! I am already planning so fun project for Little Man and I may even start a separate page for blogging about home schooling! I am really excited to see how Little Man likes it. I keep talking to him about it. He hates change I think it makes him nervous. He told me he does not want to leave his school. I keep telling him the plan so that on Monday when we don’t take him to school he will not freak out. So I move forward in my Journey a little scared and unsure but hopeful that I am making the best decision for Little Man’s education and that biggest plus! We will be taking him off of the medication for ADHD!!!!!! Yes I am insane where’s the nearest Mental Ward?!!! Pray for me??!!!!

Good for you!! What an amazing mum you are to do it! And what a lucky boy to have so my h family love and support.
I only homeschool part-time, but can honestly say it was the best thing I ever did for my son! We are so close now and his behaviour has improved an unbelievable amount!

Thank you! I am forever grateful for my moms support! She knows how hard I struggle she had to put my brother on homeschool because the teachers were hard on him and I feel the same way. I want Little Man to learn at his own pace and interests 🙂 I want to make learning fun. Now to find an evening job so I can be his teacher instead of only relying on my mom 🙂
